The Utility Scheme

From the November 1942 until 1952, a licence was required to manufacture wooden furniture. Production was restricted to designated designs where the standard of construction and price was dictated. Utility goods carried the mark "CC41"

Mr E.Clinch was one of three men from Wycombe on the original panel of designers.
