Starting from the small car park by the Green.
Cross the very busy main road, which skirts the edge of the village,
and take the footpath under the equally busy railway.
Follow it through a field of scrub, diagonally up the valley side and into the trees.
Turn left along the ridge, along the private road, beyond the fringe of woods.
The path has now been diverted under the railway lines.

Follow the path along the ridge top.
The path follows the ridge top to West Wycombe Church and the Dashwood Mausoleum...
